Good afternoon Anoma! The fresh Cow peas look so amazing, we call them Black-eyed peas and seeing you pick them and shelling them, takes me back to my Grandmother's house when I was a child. Watching her shell them on the front porch is such a wonderful memory. They are so delicious served with a big pan of hot buttered cornbread, a slice of raw onion and a jalapeno pepper on the side...it's just heaven in a bowl!😋The kids are growing up so fast and what awesome helpers in the garden. Fond memories of the past lingers on in my mind, as I watch your adorable children working on your plot clearing digging and planting. I used to do that on my grandfather's vegetable plot for fun, amidst his warnings to me to be careful. At that age, little did I know how tedious a job it was to be working on a farm. Your loveable children are so helpful in their own kind ways. While mum has cooked up delicious dishes with fresh turkey berries, black eyed beans and steamed mackeral gravy.
