Turkey Call Conditioning (Ceramic, Slate, Glass)

Properly conditioning your turkey calls is extremely important! When you feel your striker start to slip, it's time for a little call maintenance! The ceramic just needs cleaned with a little alcohol, the glass needs a little sand paper and you can use sand paper, steel wool, or a scotch bright pad on the slate! I’m confused. Just watched a video saying not to use sand paper on glass, now you said to use sand paper on glass.

sand paper is fine for glass! that or a conditioning stone.

JT Calls I’ve always used sand paper and it seems to work just fine.
