Really enjoyed this. I remember oh so well (especially since I can still get distracted and do it all over again) drawing out the metal and what I thought was going to be my next hammer was just a nub of steel left and the rest was in the bottom of the forge. LOL. We learn from our mistakes. Have a great day.

..Good Job Trenton !! You can demonstrate and explain a process in under 10-15 minutes. It takes some others a hour or more and they still can't simplify it the way you do. Good Job Sir...!!!

Great job of demonstrating how to isolate a heat! I have tried explaining it to folks, and with my non existent videography ability, you did a perfect job at about 6:30 in. Thanks Trenton !

Hey Got a question off topic. How deep is your fire pot? Is it home made ? What are the dimentions? I guess that was more than one question but hey. IMO if you didn't do a video on fire pots it may make a good video. Great info on your videos by the way. Thanks in advance, Martin at M&S Blades and Blacksmithing

Fire pot is 2" deep
@msblades53827 жыл бұрын
I thought that a good dimension pot was deeper so your fire had the chance to burn up all the oxygen before it got to your piece.. I want to build a pot was going to use RR track plates dimentions 8x10x5or6in. deep. IYO is this to much? The plate is .5in thick The ones they use to hold the track in place..Again thanks, Martin

Thats really really deep. They had pots that size but they are for bonfire forges.

Just curious....when you sell a finished poker, is the small hook on the handle end removed? If not, it seems like it would be an accident waiting to happen!
