Been coming back to this video for several years now. Every year before the season comes, I (like every other turkey fanatic) pull the calls out and practice up. Every year I end up watching this video a couple dozen times. Just dawned on me this year that watching this video has become a bit of a tradition for me lol. Thanks for sharing.

The first 2 minutes of this video are turkey hunting gold. Learn this call and you're going home with a big 'ol tom.

I watched this video and made my Lynch's 101 sound just like that hen. Called a bird in from 200 yards and got my first Tom last spring. Thanks for the help!

zooming was dizzy the audio was great! ive been looking for fall turkey calls, since they deviate from spring calling, and this has helped alot! we usually only hunt our turkeys in the spring, and we can take two birds of either sex fall season, and toms only in the spring with a stipulation of at least a 3" beard, was curious if you could harvest either sex in your area, since you didnt take that hen

@Keithlovelace1 one thing i dont get about NY, our hunting seasons are really oddball, the only answer i got to why we can only hunt such short hours during the spring, was to give the hens time to settle down, and back on the nest to start incubating their eggs... unless osceola turkeys breed differently, iam just dumbfounded why other states that have eastern turkeys can hunt normal hours
@kylecampbell9745 жыл бұрын
What was that chirp sound at the end? I've been hearing something similar in the woods near the field I'm hunting but due to the large eastern chipmunk population, it's hard to tell the difference between the two animals at times.
@upstatearms412 жыл бұрын
@Keithlovelace1 nice, also i forgot to ask, are your hours of hunting the same for both spring and fall? here during the spring we can be in the woods one half hour before sunrise and can only hunt till 12 noon, fall its sunrise to sunset
