Turkey Overland. Cappadocia Balloons

Travel Turkey by overland truck. Cappadocia was without doubt my favourite place. A fairytale land. I loved Turkey. So much to explore, plenty or history and a welcome relief from the cold winter I had in Siberia. Having recently got married to Sevinch in Kazakhstan, my trip back to the UK was a bit of a honeymoon. I didn't shoot very much video which I now regret. I struggled to make this video because of the lack of footage but I thought better to make it and share than to keep it all hidden on a hard drive. We only planned to spend 1 month in Turkey but stayed for 2 months and really wanted more time. Its a pretty big country and there is a lot to do. The sea was a new experience for Sevinch. She has since grown a love for the sea and you can see her playing with it in this video. A cat moved in with us while at Istanbul, we liked having her. We were sad to leave her behind. We named her kitty. :)

Gladiators fought in Amphitheaters. You seemed to be in a Theater... No Gladiators there.

S B I looked at the history of that theatre after being there. They had gladiators and at one time it was converted to be filled with water for some kind of boat battles which I didn’t know they even did.
