I'm so grateful I found this channel! Your lessons are very clear and a great length for if I want to learn a little while I'm cooking or brushing my teeth or something. Also (and I know the video's a couple years old already), one thing I did notice is that I think you have the front and back vowels switched- i and e are made in the front of the mouth while a, o, u, and ı are back vowels :)

One thing I have noticed that everything in Turkish seems to have an order and is logical. So if you learn the rules it should make sense putting it all together.

Happy to have found you for grammer. Do u think 1st we should build up some vocabulary and than build grammer? The most difficult part of turkish in my opinion is these suffixes tht r sooo confusing. Also i want my 5 yr old to learn turkish. Il teach and learn along side her.i judt realised things i could never learn as a kid now i am learning while i teach her. Olz suggest some online books for kids. Like u teach them step by step and make them practice.

Thank you for the video. It was great. Do you write cursive in Turkish or print? I was wondering how to connect some letters if you do cursive.
@LearnTurkishwithMuki4 жыл бұрын
This is an excellent question! We write in print. The schools tried to switch to teaching cursive writing to children in the most recent years but the general public still prefers print to cursive writing.
@cassiopeia11213 жыл бұрын
When I was in private school we had to write cursive since 7. Grade but in turkey they mainly use print writing

@@LearnTurkishwithMuki Yes I am serious... Sound quality can be improved. The graphics can be added.. animation can be merged.. However I am not good at making animation.. Though have been working on Adobe Flash a few years back. So you have the talent of teaching and you speak English fluently. All you need is a little help and motivation and your channel will fly above.

does changing from D to T also apply to past tense when it met with an explosive letter? like when why it's Gittim and not gitdim? and why ictim and not icdim? this is the only thing that confusing me right now

a quick question in past tense marker when do we ues d and when do we use t cuz it's confusing me someone help me please

Good question. Watch my Consonant Harmony video to get your answer.
@javiluxekir92 Жыл бұрын
How do you say "why not"?
@sserhann1984 Жыл бұрын
Your short question does not have a verb. We negate the sentences by adding suffixes to the verb. Thus we add a generic verb like "olmak" to lacking short sentences: Neden olmasın? Then it translates as: Why doesn't it happen? or Why doesn't it be?

I didn't get this, point how to know that is going to be (medim) or (madim) I am confused between ( oku) and (konuş)
@lordofdalkiran Жыл бұрын
Its like lego parts, vowel harmony as she explained via previous videos. Okumadım, Konuşmadım. Yemedim, İçmedim. Look last vowel of the word, if there is e-i at the end then = di suffix. if a,ı then suffix dı . Gül-me-dim. Konuş-ma-dım (Verb + me/ma(negative) + past tense suffix (dı/di/du/tü/tu..)--personal pronoun suffix (-m) I didn't speak=Konuşmadım
@mariam53573 жыл бұрын
I thought that the past marker is Di . Dı. Du. Dü from the previous lesson then why we used ti 🤔🤔
