@@omar23994 Actually this isn't true. The different areas in which the Turkish and Greek Cypriots lived was quite mixed, both were mixed over the entire island. After the conflict all the Greek Cypriots moved south and the Turkish Cypriots moved north.

the reason turks did that "invasion" was because cyprus wanted to join greece, but turks living there didnt want it, so people living there started attacking turks, so turkey did this "invasion", but the things cypriots did to turks was just disgusting, i will give you only 1 example, and that is Cengiz Tobel, a Turkish pilot that fought during the cyprus war. I went to Cyprus (and both sides of Nicosia for one day) on vacation in may 2023 and a Cypriot bus driver told us that the Turks did very bad things and expelled all Greeks living on the northern part and repopulated that with Turkish people from mainland turkey. I believe what he has told me and Cyprus should become one country again and all Turkish people that migrated to the northern part should go back to Turkey! Btw I do not support the NATO actions in Kosovo. 🇳🇱❤️🇨🇾
