I was lucky enough to meet Iousuf during one of my holidays in Istanbul. For the first time I appreciated the skill and confidence with which he did his job. Every time I left his place I felt 10 years younger. Today I visited it for the 3rd or 4th time and I will definitely visit it again until the end of the holiday. I don't even care that his service cost more than double what it cost you. Maybe with this review, they will give me a discount too. Over time I have used similar services in Istanbul. I noticed that no matter which salon you enter, all the barbers are equally professional, even if the salons are not set up according to the latest standards. Congratulations Iousuf and congratulations to you for the idea.

@@shavesandmassages How so? Im in the US and I can estimate that I, a man so getting a typical man's haircut, would probably pay $15-$20 for a regular cut from a regular place in suburban 'merica. Now once I start adding on other services (beard, shampoo, etc) then the price goes up. Or if I go to some fancy place in a big city then that would be more expensive. Is it more random over there than that?

@@lordbreetai I think he means from the same barber. Like if you walk in and ask for high top fade and the say 20 dollars. When I walk in and ask for the exact same haircut they say 15 dollars. Then next week it's a whole different set of prices.

In typical Turkish style - strong and decisive, no messing around, no relaxing, or soft massage. Strangely, this is, in a way, more relaxing to watch than gentle, SPA massages. I was surprised at the end when he powdered your hair black and sprayed them. He prepared you as if you were going for some big ceremony. This won't last, but I guess, is a nice touch.

He is so good and fast with the scissors. Only some one with a lot of experience can do that. I am from India and trust me we have almost all the barbers in India that are also so quick with the scissors in hair cutting and beard trimming and at a very reasonable price.

Unfortunately, be careful with taxi drivers, they are the most dangerous only in Istanbul, but 100 Turkish liras seemed reasonable even to me. If I were not in another city, I would prefer it too.
