Turkish Pide Recipe By Sabo Sisters
Make 2 large or 3 medium sized
Ingredients
For Dough
All-purpose flour 2 cups
Luke warm milk ½ cup
Sugar 1 tbsp
Yeast 2 tsp
Salt 1 tsp
Oil 2 tbsp + 1 tbsp
Water luke warm for kneading as required
For filling
Oil 2tbsp
Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
Mince (mutton or beef ) 300 gm
Salt 1 tsp or to taste
Black pepper powder 1tsp
Cumin powder ½ tsp
Coriander powder ½ tsp
Red chilli flakes ½ tsp
Paprika powder ¾ tsp
Dried oregano 1 tsp
Tomato paste 2 tbsp
Onion chopped ½ cup
Capsicum cubes 1 cup
Water 3 to 4 tbsp
Shredded cheese ½ cup or according to your choice (mozzarella or mixture of mozzarella and cheddar)
For topping
Egg yolk 1
Milk 1 tsp
Sesame seeds (white and black) as required
Baking Time : 180°C for 25 to 30 mins
tbsp = tablespoon
tsp = teaspoon
1 cup= 250 ml = 2.5 dl
