I thought about breaking it up into to parts but decided not to do that thinking if anyone is interested enough they will not be bothered by a lengthy video. You were talking about the 56 I must have misread it. Because I thought you said 55 and your comment. Yeah I saw that pretty neat. Mine is a 2dr hardtop and I have the four-door and also 2door post. Anyway thanks for the shout out. If I had my mind stuck on binford's service station truck. I couldn't remember where I saw that name binford. And my wife pointed out to me. That was the name of the tools on tool Time/home improvement. I thought that might be a nod to Mr Wilson 😜😉🤣🤣

You didn't tell the man you take three of those 59 chevys. In today's world that's a decent buy if it's as perfect as it looked. Baby stuff fastest car prices are dropping. And in the rotation of which the 59 came up in value it's about their turn to drop. I like to Old Texaco signs and the mobile sign. My wife likes the old 76 signs and Coke signs. Also good show! The guy with the dark I believe it was. Out of Stevenson in Alabama if he don't have it nobody has as far as mopar parts. Although I'm pretty sure what he was missing wasn't exactly a stock part.

Glad you enjoyed the video!!! Did you notice my callout to you in writing with the 55 Chevrolet patina special? That is great that your wife also found some things she liked. I also like the Texaco signs.

Rob, thanks for another great video. I've been hoping for a Cal show at some point for a question I have. My daughter and I have picked an old dump down a mountainside and have come across some big old signs. I'm sure not the first to find them but hill is so steep and long the signs are too heavy to pack out. My question is about a 7' oval button Chevron flying V with Standard Oil Products of Calif underneath. We couldn't bring it up as besides heavy, it was in rough shape and very tender. It had been folded in half and straightened out later by someone. I keep looking for this sign on videos but have yet to see one. Just wondering if anyone knows of this sign and what time period it might be from? I did come up with a plan to get it but next time I went down the mountain, the sign was gone. Oh well, snooze ya lose I guess. Happy hunting to you.
@gaspumprob10 ай бұрын
Hello Bill, That is a very interesting story. I am trying to picture that Chevron sign in my mind . When you say oval button was it completely flat or embossed or stamped out into a shape of a oval button like a Coke button sign? It sounds like a bulk plant dealer sign possibly. Too bad you don’t have a pic of what it looked like to share. A truck with a long cable winch would have probably helped you recover it. Yes it is a shame you didn’t get it and now it is gone. I wonder how many more signs might be buried on the mountain side? Rough is ok especially if it is free . We call these rough signs survivors. Without seeing it I will guess 1940s based on the fact it said Standard Oil Products of California. Thank you for sharing this story and for watching my video. Rob

Can anyone guide me on how to find old auto parts dealers in USA online, any website with all info or directory
@gaspumprob10 ай бұрын
I recommend that you google search vintage car salvage yard parts in America. Several yards will show up. Try looking up Desert Valley Auto Parts in Arizona. They have a huge yard full of car and truck parts and project vehicles available. Look up my video from July it features this yard and you will be able to see how large of a salvage yard this is.
