Never change your intro song bro. It’s just too good and I know I’m watching a Takobyte video when I hear that song and your accent 😂

Hi, I was the player you played against in the first game! The reason I did not Grief towards the end was to use the Dark Ritual if I had drawn into Sneak Attack or to use Dark Ritual after I tutored for Sneak Attack with Assemble the Team. Dark Ritual allows me to get sneak attack out quickly and play into Atraxa to give sneak attack more resources. I could have used the dark ritual to hard cast Grief, but at that moment I did not see a card in your hand that demanded the immediate use of Grief. Phoenix wants to be in the graveyard and you had two not dead after all. I could have used the Grief to pressure your life total, but you were at 20 life which would take 7 turns to take away 20 life. Most decks could win within those 7 turns. Therefore, since there was no card in hand that wins you the game and Grief being on the battlefield does not pressure your life total quickly enough, I thought it would be wiser to hold the dark ritual. If I managed to draw into a sneak attack or a tutor I could immediately pressure your life total and gain card advantage with Atraxa. With dark ritual and three lands, I could have 5 mana. 4 mana for sneak attack and 1 for it's activation. I could have pitched Atraxa for Grief. However, if i had drawn into sneak attack I could have put down Breaker and attacked, but it would only deal 8 damage. I would then be left with no cards in hand. With the annihilator trigger you could sac the treasure and one land. Which would not have been that detrimental to your plan since you had another land in hand. So, I wanted to keep Atraxa for the resources and dark ritual to get sneak attack on board. So, my thought was it would be better to hold the Grief. I did not want to try for a reanimate strategy since I did not have a card to put the creatures in the yard or a reanimate in my hand. I would have needed to draw two cards rather than one. Good games. That second one was really quick :). Great Channel. I look forward to your next video.
