Everytime I've played discard lock, the cards that benefit from being discarded avoid the discard like the plague. Before Karazan rotated out, I lost count of how many times I'd have 2 golems in hand, and watch as they dodged 5 discards in a row. My hand is 2 golems, a soul fire, and one more card, and soul fire doesn't hit either golem 7 times out of 10.

this is why you never play quest/discolock, people always joke about discarding the best cards in your hand but honestly the discard benefit cards never get discarded until your hand is empty
