Nice tutorial... thank you!!! What you did with the texture? I placed on top of the group with a multiply blending effect and 30% of opacity... is it okay? 👍

That could also work, although you'll likely have a less intense paper texture. If it works for you then by all means have at it! No right or wrong.

I was following to the point that I was on 'Sketch Lines' layer. Thumbnail in color, just like yours. I went to 'Filter Gallery' (image on PS screen B&W) time stamp 3:27 > clicked to open, image returns to color and stays there.

It may be due to filters being temporarily disabled or the black and white adjustment layer being ignored while in the Filter Gallery. It should go back to normal after leaving the filter gallery. That's the only solution that would come to mind off the top of my head.
