Great tutorial. I heat up the vinyl with a hair dryer before I turn it. It makes it a bit easier to turn. I have a mint KitKat bag (with Japanese on it) that I've been saving to try this with. Best tutorial I've seen on how to use candy/chip bags. Thank you and subscribed.

Great tip on the hair dryer. I do remember that being mentioned somewhere. I bet that KitKat bag is gonna be adorable. Thanks so much for the kind words and subscribing. ❤️

super cute - I think I would use some batting when quilting the bag. I had no idea the whole thing could be done in the hoop so I am super excited to get a pattern and try it. Thank you I learned a lot!

Thank you. Batting may make it thick but let me know how it turns out for you 😀

What a wonderful and informative tutorial! I was surprised you didn’t use batting or fleece with your quilting! I like it though!

Genius. I just suscribed. How much can someone sell the bags?
@arikamade Жыл бұрын
I have no idea what people are selling the bags for. I just listed mine for $20 with strap. I consider my time, materials and machine usage. I would consider doing $15 without strap. My other bags start at $30 and go up considerable for crossbody. Which reminds me that I need to finish the crossbody tutorial.

Should I cut the bag to measure 5 by 5
@arikamade8 ай бұрын
If it allows, cut more than you need so you’ll have room to place it how you want it. Hope that makes sense.

Very creative… I ❤️ it…!!! How long is the strap? Thanks for sharing
@arikamade Жыл бұрын
Thank you. 10 inches before its folded and the hardware is added. It's 5 inches on your wrist.
