I've been using this for months. It's super powerful. So many options with this tool. Competior analysis, combine and repurpose older content, generate new content ideas, summarize, etc. Leaning a new skill or topic has increased exponentially with this tool. So much more. That's definitely impressive, Helena! I think that this tool still needs to improve somewhat to eliminate the repetition that creeps in towards the end of the 'podcast'. And, as others have mentioned here already, it will be good when there is the option to use or upload different voice samples. But is is amazing to see what these technologies are now achieving, and exciting to consider how much better they will become in the coming months!

NotebookLM now has the ability to bring in KZbin videos as well. Unfortunately, the audio isn't always 100% correct. I've noticed in just about every podcast I've generated that there are mistakes...sometimes the speakers spell out words instead of saying them, and it inserted the word "listener" multiple times for no reason (So, listener, they can help you...).

Helena, this my first exposure to your well-presented channel. Apologies for not being able to ask a more positive question, but: aren't you a little concerned that this tool will lead to a massive glut of podcasts - which we are hardly short of already? I can see two possibilities here. One: the AI podcasts are low quality and repetitive, their prevalence making it frustratingly difficult to find genuine insights. Personally I found the voices and 'humour' on that podcast deeply irritating and would go a long way to avoid. Two: the AI podcasts are high quality and varied. This will surely lead to human pod-casters being put out of jobs. Without wishing to be mean, KZbinrs will not be long after. And then what?

In the AI generated podcast, the woman’s voice sounded natural and easy to understand. The man’s voice sounded too fast and therefore generated and difficult to understand. Native English speaker here. GREAT tutorial! I’ll check out NotebookLM.
