If you use TL431 it output current is very low. The output voltage can be set to any value between 2.5 and 36 V with two external resistors. The TL431 and TL432 operate with a wide current range from 1 to 100 mA with a typical dynamic impedance of 0.22

Thanks, but tl431 corrects the feedback voltage in this circuit!

Yeah, all the TL431 does is to provide a feedback signal for the switching components. If you want to go below 3V, you would need a separate op-amp circuit. And if you're above the rated voltage, expect worse performance because every transformer, be it a ferrite transformer or heavy iron core transformer, drops voltage under load, meaning you can get higher than rated, but unstable, noisy voltage. In theory, current control isn't hard to make, either. Just a simple op-amp circuit that forces the feedback optocoupler on when either voltage or current is higher than needed.

Thank you very interesting video. But the connection of the 3 potentiometer wires is not clear on the electronic card. Please specify this connection in particular where are the extreme wires of the potentiometer connected? Thank you very much for answering my question bécasse i will make an adapter like this.

Assalam u Aleyikum. I have an 18.5 v laptop charger. I have remove its two resistance connected to REFERENCE PIN of TL 431 and attached a 10k Potentiometer . Didn't change any capacitor.
