Turn CAS Mode Off on TI-Nspire CX II CAS

if you can't turn it On again, do it through the app by connecting it to your computer. exit "to-test"

My teacher turned mine off on my caculator and im trying to turn it back on and it won't let me what do i do

How did you have your calculator on your pc like that?

When you buy the calculator it comes with an activation code for the computer version. (I'm using the teachers edition which I've had for like a decade and has a perpetual license so it's a little different from what you get with a calculator purchase.)

You can't turn it off? Do you have a CX II? (Black calculator with sort of blue edges?) The CX and older didn't have the option to turn off CAS mode and (for some reason I don't know) TI never bothered to add it as an option.

@@turksvids Yes mine is CX II and I tried every method to turn CAS mode off, but it didn't work. when I first got my calculator my CAS mode was off. and suddenly one day my CAS mode is on, and I just can't turn it off anymore

Have you tried reinstalling the operating system? That’s what I would try in this case.

Bummer. You can call ti and there’s a chance they’ll replace it depending on how old it is (and probably other factors). Worth a shot.

you might have the normal version of the calculator, does your calculator have the word "CAS" written on the top right corner ? ( not on the screen but on the plastic part)
