I am British tamil and personally i don't like it when the tamil industry jump elsewhere when it comes to starring actresses. It is like Kollywood is an easy industry to make a name because of the struggle to get opportunities in Holloywood, Bollywood etc. Anyone that disagrees, can tell me that producers really cannot find one actress that can speak tamil, act well and look beautiful. Its crazy to think how other industries don't accept this but kollywood does smh

even in neighbouring states like kerala they prefer their own kind and these movies are far better than tamil ones. so i guess, this has a lot to do with preferances of the directors and especially the people in tamil nadu, who wants movies with light skinned actresses. Well gvan raj, I don't know man I'm just a girl who stated an opinion but I am against pageants and competition that's based on looks that put beautiful women side by side to pick one who is prettier based on judges that have an idea of beauty that is based on what people on magazine and tv say is beautiful. Even tho this has been going on for years it's sad and there is nothing I can do about it but ALL IM ASKING is not to put down a woman to say another one is prettier. Also, men have zero fucking rights to talk about women's looks. (and I actually don't know if that's how competitions of miss world work bc I never watch it so don't come for me.)
