Another video. And Yes I failed to demonstrate the Salicional and the celeste at the same time! Special thanks to the folks in the video for offering their time and talents. Please note the bit about the tuning in the description. Both Steve and Joyce played a fair bit for us but we had to remove most of it. The organ does sound quite lovely in the space. Also check out that tremulant at the end! circa 16:55

When the sound cuts off at the end, You are seeing the 16 ft bourdon and the opening for the pedal handle.

Thanx , David! I hope you invite Steve to become a regular fixture in your videos. He plays divinely, (I can't stop listening to his En Chamde solo of Crown Him With Many Crowns, on the 'Fort Hill Pres' video), and he seems like such a likeable character.

David, great to see you post again. This brought back memories! I used to play an 1872 E&GG Hook organ from the mid 1990s to the mid 2000s. It was 2 manuals, but smaller than this one. The Great was 8' Open Diapason, 8' Dulciana, and 4' Octave. The Swell was 8' Stopped Diapason, 8' Viola, and 4' Flute. There were no Pedal stops, and no octave couplers. The 8' Open Diapason was duplexed to the pedal, but the duplex actions were very worn and prone to cyphers, so I didn't use it much and basically just coupled the Swell and Great to the Pedal. When I took that job I thought what can I possibly do with this tiny instrument? But, I adapted to its sounds and was able to play many things on it that didn't necessarily hold to typical registration norms, but sounded good and worked, in my opinion.

This is built just like a reed organ because of the divided console.

my Episcopal rector many years ago, when we got a organ, told me that a congregation sing to a regular electronic organ, a pipe organ lifts you and you feel it. it does not seem to be a real bright sounding organ though

When you demonstrated the Diapasons at 8 and 4, you accidentally had the 8 in the treble with the 4 in the bass. I'm not a fan of split stops and single-manual organs for the reason of accidentally turning on the wrong stops.
