I can definitely confirm that this is true. I've been vc banned 3 TIMES for the past week, 7 days the first time and then another 7 days, and yesterday I got another 7 day ban despite not saying anything discriminatory. It always happened on PLS DONATE, I'm assuming most of the time people would just report me because I get donated more or get annoyed when I mute them. I've been a victim to this multiple times. I've been banned 6 - 10 times now through out 2023 With voice chat, and all I do is just talk to people yet I get banned. Some were 7 day bans, some were 3 day. But roblox really needs to 1 up their moderation. It's getting to the point where if you just say "hi" you'll get terminated.

Today at 11:32am (CT) I was playing mid game with my friends and got falsely reported for 3 days. I don't know what happened but I didn't say much. Also, the people that were insulting me, went to go look at their usernames because they were swearing at me for at least the whole game. So, reported first because they insulted me and I got my account disabled for 3 days. Tried making an appeal but Roblox does not email you back. It is really sickening that a lot of Roblox Players are getting falsely banned for nothing. I have been getting banned for 1 to 3 days depending on how bad it is. Somewhere around March 14 I've gotten my voice chat suspended for 1 week and no email back from Roblox. People accused me of reporting them when I never reported anyone but this time it did. So please I would RECOMMEND people to turn off the new Beta Feature for Roblox. 👍👍

Hello. I am a Roblox developer and have been invited by Roblox to the voice chat program in it’s closed testing phase. I am sorry to say this to you, no disrespect to your content, but that “test” that user did by asking people to mass report him for a donation in that game, is not a valid or proper test. Abusing the report feature is a punishable offence. Asking people to “report you for a donation” is abusing the report feature. If that abusive behavior was not punishable, people WILL abuse it by mass reporting for no reason other than to troll or mess around. This will only result in the moderation system to clog up with false reports(and its already pretty bad) and make it harder, or rather, literally impossible, for human moderation to occur in the first place. A moderator is an employee, and its not free. They better things to deal with than people trying to troll them with “report me for donation” This was 100% an offense and has to be punished to prevent more abusive reporting. The ban was well deserved, and if a moderator actually reviewed it, he did a perfecly fine job. That being said, yes, a report of your behavior in voicr chat can result in an automated ban of voice chat. This would be a preventative measure, specifically if you received alot of reports in a short period of time. This however, would get lifted once they get time to review it or upon your request. A voice chat ban would not prevent access to your account. That lift of course, would only be assuming you were not in the wrong. The user you mentioned WAS in the wrong. The reason why it is the user who received a voice chat ban(and lets be clear, it was not an account ban), is because the user was encouraging misuse and abuse of the chat reporting system. Encouraging it is much worse than doing it, since the users who did it, are either too guilable or clueless, or, very aware of your missuse and specifically reported you for abusing the feature.

I can get voice chat, but I decide not to also because there is a lot of bullying. My cousin has voice chat they meet the age requirement. Roblox claims to have the "best" community service team. They actually don't in my opinion because when people report someone that is very toxic and is able to bypass the system to curse honestly it shows Roblox again not having a good moderation team. Now I also feel bad for some youtubers because they actually do get banned or suspended, I've seen it happen sometime though. Only because they have the YT in the username that is the stupidest rule, they have ever made for Roblox. roblox could make it so that you can only report one individual once every hour or something AND they have to be in the game to do so. this would make it so that someone can't spam report somebody or get a group of people to report someone at once. then, they could make it so that if a player gets a certain amount of reports within like a week or something, then a voice chat log that was recorded within 5 minutes before and after the report would be sent to a human moderator to review and decide upon. this would make it so that there wouldn't be as many reports for a human moderator to skim through, and it would make abuse of the voice chat report system less plausible and take more time. any flaws in this system can be patched up or smthin to make it work well

Yeah, just now seeing this but I reported someone yesterday for swearing (an actual report) and then the next thing you know, they got their VC taken away and I was just shocked.
