This was great. I talk a lot about retirement and how to prepare because everyone, like you say, have their heads down and bums up and hoping it all works out but you have to have a plan and know what you're going to be doing day to day without going crazy.

I have to disagree with a lot of what Tom says about RE. He is being very very general and is including RE as just old crappy buildings that fall apart. My 100 year old warehouse has literally cost next to nothing to maintain. We have cell towers on the roof and we make $250,000/year freecash from it along with tax deductions. My Dad is almost 70 and he absolutely LOVES IT! He purchased another building for $750k and that building we make $50,000/year free cash and have a 5 year lease where our lease is going to pay off the entire nut. We are LOVING our RE. We also have insurance and long term care but come on man

His comments where directed towards apartments , industrial is completely different. Cool antenna concept tho, Sounds like a gem
