What an amazing new gadget! To have a handheld 3D scanner for private use were sci fi just a few years ago. It still takes artistic skill to take it to a finished miniature, which you have plenty of!

I wish that you sold some of your miniatures. I'm retired and don't have the money to purchase scanners and 3D printers. I just had heart surgery and need to pay the co-pay.

That thing is so cool! I could watch you scan, print, and paint items for hours. The glue jug is my favorite.

Nice! While that is something I would not use very often and defs not often enough to justify the cost, it would be cool if someone would set up a service where you could pay to have an item scanned and printed.

Check your local library/maker space. A lot of them have 3D printers and scanners you can use for a small fee.

@@hannahisapalindrome44 Thats interesting to know. I live in a large city and they do not have anything like that available at any of the local libraries. What exactly is a "maker space"?

That was amazing, Kat! It seems like every time I see a video of yours you have some amazing new gadget that I want to add to my own collection someday. The truth is - I love dollhouse miniatures and I love making them myself, but I also love realism and functional minis, too, and would love to make them! I can't wait til I am able to afford tools like these to really create the miniatures that I want for my dollhouse. It's pretty pricey, but I think this is worth it. I can't wait to get me a 3D scanner like this, a 3D printer, a laser printer, and a commercial printer and cutter. LOL. Anyway - thanks for sharing your cool makes. I loved the little insulated mug and drill and shoes. The bear was cute, too, but for me - for something like that I would just do the shell of the bear in the resin and I would use actual fabric for the fluffy bits and the clothing because it just seems like a really hard sculpture all in resin. It's still amazing though. Oh - and I have to say that my fav was probably the wood glue bottle - that's totally right up my alley!!!!!!!!!

Wow this is a real game changer in making miniature items. Can it scan more complex items too? I’m thinking stuff like small electrical appliances or antique items?

Thank You,Love All the ways you show how❤ How adorable would it be if you had real wood glue in the tiny wood glue bottle and then you're at a craft fair and you have to fix something with just a tiny bit of glue and a toothpick, and you take out that bottle and use it, OMGEeeee❤❤❤❤

Is it possible to scan someone's head and face so you could create a realistic miniature doll? Not asking you to do this, just asking if you think it would be possible.
