Oh now you've outdone yourself! These are beautiful. They look like minerals found in nature. Really pretty. I'm definitely making both the boxes and some jewelry and whatever else I come up with. Thank you Tammy! You're my new favorite craft channel. Well done! Gorgeous!

If you use the UV resin, you could then use the cabochon to make magnets.. thereby increasing your profit from 1 pack of jewellery blanks.

I’ve got 30 years of jewelry supplies that I’ve just gotten to a place where my arthritis has overcome my desire to do make jewelry anymore, ever since these paint skins have come out I’m so excited to get my supplies back out that I almost sold off! I’m also an acrylic painter and have a ton of different colors of, and additives to help the paint flow. Along with high end glitter, mics color shifts and so much more! Thank you to you and all those out there making beautiful jewelry and other crafts with paint skins! Praise God I didn’t sell all of my bezels and cabochan molds! Not to mention other molds!! Thank you so very much! Where can I find these punches for the best value? God bless you and have a fantastic day❣️❣️

Yes! This is right up my alley, turning the byproducts from other projects into products themselves. I absolutely love it! A couple of them were mesmerizing, looked like planets or even galaxies. I wonder if the skins could even be molded and hardened into another form? I suppose it could be wrapped around like a cup or something. A pen holder or whatever....or maybe like a glass bottle! Used as a way to protect it. I've been (slowly) trying to use glass over plastic and the hardest for me is plastic water bottles. What are your thoughts on using these skins as actual bottle skins? Have you experimented with the strength of the skins? Tried different thicknesses? I know you're creating mostly for art purposes, but some of these you mentioned are general use items with just added artistry (buttons, phone accessories) so I mean, why not? I think I'd like to try and experiment with this now and curious of your thoughts... 😄

Also, the leftover punch outs, you can roll those in to asymmetrical beads and coat! If there’s a divot on the bead after it’s rolled, just stick a rhinestone in it.

I did that with my fingernail polish stuff. I even glued it onto other shells I didn't paint. By gluing I mean I put fingernail polish remover onto the item and it glued itself. Love yours too.

Tammy Thank you so much for sharing your artistic talent with us! This is such a great idea. I especially like a way to use up my paint. As you must know buying paint is very tempting to an artist and you can end up with much more than you need. This will definitely help with getting rid of the guilt of buying so much and making the money back by doing something so creative with the paint! 🩷

Very cool video! The only way to open a jump ring is exactly as Tammy did: twist toward/away, not moving the shoulders out left/right. As with captive bead piercing jewelry, you'll *never* close it so that the points connect again. Hoping to make it to your next class - no matter how much I watch you, I always learn something new. Thank you for the lesson! Much love and smo0o0o0o0o0oches.

Brilliant way of using paint skins. I have used Glossy Accents in place of resin. If left in the sun after it's dry, it turns orange. It will turn orange in the bottle as well when it gets old.

I used to paint pour, then i fell in love with watercolor so i no longer pour, however when i did, i would take the clear cabs and drop it right into the overflow drips while wet..flip and let dry. Ones u dont like, peel off and repeat. With the cabs, i uv resin the back and i wire wrapped into gorgeous pendants.
