The last example: 1 + 1 = 0. Should turn into 7 - 1 = 6. Explanation: Take the vertical stick from the plus sign and move it horizontally to the top of the first "1" number making "7". Then take the upper right stick from the "0" number and place it horizontally in the middle of that "0" number making "6".

1 + 1 = 0 Turn the + into a -- and use that match to turn the 1 into a 7 Then .. turn the 0 intio a 6 7 - 1 = 6 I had to pause quite a few of these. To be honest, I'm not sure I like the way you made the numbers 4 and 7 in #10 .. however I could see that you could solve it if you turned the first 4 into a + .. which would give you a match to make a 1 !!

In order to avoid confusion it is recommended that you don't use it at all, and use "/" to denote division and "-" to denote substraction. The equation says 7 "divided by 1 is 7", though the "/" is usally written with the same height as the digits.

The word "equation" means there must be an "equals" sign. Not an inequality, but an equality. Otherwise, it could be fixed with: 74 - 4 > 4 (just change the "=" to ">").

Number 7 could be: 2+1=7. On the 2, take the top vertical match and move it left, then take the bottom vertical match and move it to the right to make it a 6+1=7

#4: move match from plus sign to in front of 7…it becomes 1-8=-7. #9 can be solved with 1 move…move a stick on 3 to make it 2, so it is 1+1=2. The one without shown solution is 7-1=6. However, 1 of the puzzles needs rule clarification…it doesn’t say numbers can be smaller than the original size. Otherwise, fun game. Thank you.

On all of these equations you can move one match sticks from almost any of the larger number, like a 6, 8 or 9 and others and place it at an angel over the equal sign turn it into "does not equal" (≠) and by saying that the wrong equation is now not equal, you have made the equation correct. Go google the "not equal sign" if you don't believe me.

There's a fly in your ointment. "one plus one does not equal three" is not an equation. It is an inequality. The conditions say "turn the wrong equation into the right one", not "turn the wrong equation into an inequality".
