Alright its legit speed went up from 25-30 Mbps to 70-75 Mbps (Mb-Megabits not to be confused with MB-MegaBytes) but ping went from 3-4ms to 7-9ms i guess thats a fair trade off.

Already had those settings but not on static. When I switched it the speed was exactly the same. Will not stay on static though, switches back to DHCP. I WILL recommend an app to save time with all the ad bloated ones, and that is 5g speed test. Mine was 110 megabits on wifi which is 8 Mb/sec. Have gotten better on actual phone downloads but the PC cannot use 5g even though it's modern and claims it's available. Ok going through it all again it went from 110 to 111.

My wifi static IP doesnt work because its DNS private locked or something like that, says there...the mobile data for three here in the UK, connection type is grayed out, so there you go, unless a fix around it, although my internet is fine so im not too worried

Well I tried it on my Samsung A53 and it went from 36mb to 286mb (I have a 300mb package). Massive improvement. However on my S23 Ultra it went from 311mb down to 151mb. A massive downgrade. From that it looks like it might benefit some phones but not all as they are both coming up two years old.

Mine was the same way. I found that I could add a name. I named it pop and then set all the settings exactly the same as the original one, except for the chap or pap. I then used that name but there was no consistent difference between the two of them when I tried the speed test
