You can turn your logo into 3D gold in Photoshop. You can add this gold effect to your logo or text with this Photoshop tutorial. This 3d logo design adds details and textures which makes it look realistic. You can add a background and adjust the lighting to make it look even more real.

I put the texture on vivid light at 28% opacity instead of hard light. Works really well with my logo. Awesome video!

after grouping the three layers and adjusting the overlay to e0ab1c to 100% there is no change still no texture is displayed

Great Tutorial. I had to do it a few times to get it right, but it worked out in the end. How can I make this logo on a transparent background?

You can just remove the background layer then it will be transparent.

Yeah, the color that you start with doesn't matter. It will change when you make the edit.

You will have to restart if you want a different logo. Unless if you make it into text form and not rasterize the the layer.

Add a hue/Saturation adjustment layer on top. Select Colorize the change to any color.
