🚣 Turnback Canyon on wild Alsek River 🚁

The Alsek River is famous for many things including flowing through the largest non-polar ice cap in the world. The river is over 3 kilometers wide in some places but the width of the Alsek is reduced by 90% in Turnback Canyon. The famous Turnback Canyon which is a 7 kilometer long Class V+ section of water that we portaged around by helicopter.
