TurnCrafter Commander 12 Lathe Control Board Repair

Hi there..I see this video was posted 4 years ago so I am testing your memory. My son recently was given a lathe just like the one in your video with the same issue. I removed the control board and the thermistor is split and melted. It appears to be a NTC 3D-20 (hard to read) do you happen to remember if that was the values of this part? Ohms and amp rating? Thank you for your time.

Hey there, Steve, I have the same lathe so I can tell you that yes, the thermistor is an NTC 3D-20 rated 3 ohms at 8 amps.

I'm not sure but ,if anyone else needs to find out about how to learn electronics repair try Saankramer Electronic Magazine System ( search on google ) ? Ive heard some awesome things about it and my brother in law got cool results with it.
