Would you make on and go on a race with me? Let me know below👇. Frequently asked questions: Link to amazon prime bike kit in description. (This one since the video has been running the longest) Check your local laws for the gas bikes, Generally speaking you don’t need to register, or have insurance and a lot of times you don’t even need a drivers license. They get 100 miles a gallon. And you learn a lot about engines. I’ve gotten my bike to go over 40 mph. Fun stuff.

One guy in our neighborhood, fifty years ago and more, would motorize almost anything with wheels. Centrifugal clutches on some of his assemblies were an afterthought. Direct drive was often the way to go. He got ahold of an old go kart frame and grafted a West Bend chainsaw motor onto the back of it. It went 60 mph and you could hear him zipping down the access road that ran parallel to the brand new Route 1 bypass that bisected Langhorne, Pennsylvania. It's a wonder that he and his contemporaries weren't seriously injured in their pursuits.

I built my first motorcycle in 1958. When I was in the eight grade. I used a Columbia heavy weight bike and an 8 HP lawn mower motor. Mounted the motor on the luggage rack behind the seat. A Jack & Hintz pulleys and clutch under the seat. There are some hills around here. I kept up with the Whizzers on the level roads. :-) They didn't keep up with me on the hills. :-) I even passed cars and semi-trucks. We didn't have a garage. I kept it in an old pony trailer. I sold it when I joined the Air Force in 1962. :-(

I just ran across this by accident, I bought a couple engine kits to set up a friend who's wheelchair bound, with power to go in the woods on my place, in NC, one four cycle, one two, and have been looking at builds, while building a differential for tracks, and I think your idea of "coast to coast" is the best, I've done it twenty or thirty times in my life, in cars, on motorcycles, on trains, planes, and have been looking at the possibility of bicycle, sometime. If you do, aim for North Carolina, you'll enjoy it more, and more affordable. I was real impressed with your plan, and it's outcome, I've been building engines, motorcycles, cars, tractors, for fifty years, but you really have some style there, and make sure "Big Daddy Rat" makes it in the end, you can't let that name down.

I've just planned a group event for next year (here's hoping) building these things up with friends and riding 200km round the local vineyard routes in France! The rules are simple, you have to bring a vehicle you have made for the event and it has to move under it's own steam. Otherwise, your call! This was my inspiration tbh!

Im in NorCal and already have a Motorized bike, So down to race bro, I'd be cheating as my bike goes 45mph, Benefits of being a Motorcycle builder tuner racer, Those eBay motors can easily hit 35/40 mph with the right carb needles and pipes. Also, lose the stock carb and buy a 20 dollar Mikuni carb will boost the torque and top end, the stock carbs are junk and so restrictive. Basically 50 dollars on top of the stock motor you can get 35 to 40 mph out of the Lil buggers!

if this is a sport, the rules I might have on this is that the driver and 1 partner will build the motorcycle 2 days before at the race location in front of everyone with every racer simultaneously do the unboxing of the engines and build his bike. Researching this now as well, definitely the logo seems to be Novora, but I can't find a big wheel BMX model like this one. You have any luck?

Safety gear, please. You ain't have more than one body. I've been on this motorized bicycle since 12yrs old and learned by my body that this thing is highly dangerous stuff even compare to the motorcycle. Lack of braking power(disc brake is not enough.), relatively high center of gravity, not enough grip. Etc. It is mandatory to wear safety gear like a full-face helmet, back protector. Trust me, I've been through a lot of accidents from motorized bicycle and motorcycle.

Dude that green machine is awesome! Looks such a perfect retro classic racer, colours are perfect, sounds gorgeous but I can't help thinking maybe a v twin engine , like an 'Indian' style motorbike would look and sound even better. 😎👍

Open up the 3 holes in the air filter box to 3/8" diameter each for better intake flow. Free HP!!
@Agavegaming4 жыл бұрын
Don’t do that unless you want to mess up the stock tune.

Otherwise the bike will run too lean.
@royledford56734 жыл бұрын
This mod is not radical enough to affect tune, not like eliminating the element. Been 3 years with no ill effects. DEFINITELY makes a difference though!
@Agavegaming4 жыл бұрын
@@royledford5673 that's subjective to your engine, increasing more air = changing the air/fuel ratio, you could possibly create more problems by doing that. This especially applies if someone who doesn't know anything about engines ends up following this tip and destroying their engine because they didn't know it was running too lean.
