This was a huge blessing for me this morning, thank you! I’ve been sick with Covid for a week and am beginning to feel better but not enough to work in the yard yet. Hi friend! My husband said it’s ground treated lumber. He said it’s the same lumber used to build decks. About 1/3 of the price of cedar. I hope that helps!

Once again, you have shown us how planning and patience make perfection in the garden. This space is so lovely. It was a good decision to move the raised beds. They can become so unsightly by late summer. Those hydrangeas are going to be glorious. Thank you for also mentioning budget constraints. That seems to be my problem this year. Mature, healthy plants in southeastern Michigan have doubled in price from two years ago. Most quality hydrangeas are now between $60 to $100 apiece here.
