Thanks! Yes I did. It is a hacked version of the Isila Dress Pattern, basically just a typical princess seam bodice that I turned into a crop top. 😊

Hi ! Really interested in this pattern and just like you i'm going for more silky dress look. Did you use the skirt pattern or did you do another gather skirt ? I'm wondering of the pattern of the outer layer would give a more gathered and voluminous look for the skirt part

I just did a gathered skirt, but I wasn’t only working with one curtain so I have very limited material. What I had was barely enough to be gathered. If you did your waist measurement times three or even four for the width then it would be much more Selkie-esque. 😊❤️

@@CaitMakes i'll do this thanks a lot. My only concern is that it would be bulky at the "waist line". Also I'm using upcycled bed sheet so the result should be different. We'll see.

Thank you! 😊❤️ I’m still fairly new to using a serger so I’m no expert, but I’ve been loving it so far. I’ve found this one super easy to use and I haven’t had any issues with it so far. I think I’ve made four or five garments on it now and it’s been great. Hope that helps 😊
