I just got a chip drop fresh cut that morning. Smells fantastic. Me and the neighbors are putting 5 inch mulch around all our beds! Ive done it for yrs, now the neighbors want it too😊

My neighbors don't garden so I am the only one here using wonderful wood chips. But I have a friend that has been taking big bags of chips for her yard. She lives on a small HOA plot where they can't have chips delivered. I live on one acre where I have lots of room. It really helped make my clay soil much better. I use it to cover ground I am not gardening on and cover soil walkways to keep weeds down and the area dry. It is used in my shade room for it's walkways. I feel it helps to hold moisture in my dry low desert garden! And it covers all my garden beds holding shrubs and trees! No volcano mulching though in my bed's!😊😊😊

If you've got the space for them once they break down they are a great raised bed filler. We had a pile a while back and we couldn't use it all right away. It gradually composted and we used it for filling raised beds.

Lol! I called a company for wood chips and they brought one load. The driver asked if Ibwanted a second load and I said "sure". The second load came. Now I am sitting in my house and a third truck showed up with chips! I took them also because, well, they were here. I had to call the company and tell them I had enough! All those chips have been used and I just received a new load!

Lol, that could be a problem! Although I bet you could call some gardening friends and they would come over to grab some.
