My wife is a puzzle nut so this sounds like a nice Christmas toy. One change that I'd make ( just to suit me and my shop ) is that I'd substitute a scroll saw with a puzzle cutting blade for the laser. Otherwise it's a nice project.

Nice project! I would like to know more about the tube connected to the top of the laser. Is that a clean air supply to reduce smoke fouling inside the laser head? Is it pressurized?

It is an additional exhaust hose coupled to the original fan. port bolts to the laser head (from Embrace Making). I have a more powerful exhaust fan than supplied. Alan
