There are already mods for this. Look up the I Want to Stay at Your House mods, there's one for each of the main companions. There are a bunch of NSFW mods like that on the Nexus. Lizzie's Braindances lets you get your money's worth out of those Gorilla Arms and do whatever you like with whomever you like in virtus, and you can stream BDs in the comfort of your apartment like a real gooner. There's even a mod that lets you take the Flaming Crotch Guy for a test drive after he upgrades his, uh, gear.

I agree with that ending. I've been playing the 'better netrunning' mod way since when I was playing on console (having to access an access point before quickhacking enemies or cameras or pinging enemies,...). I change the moment in Vs story (this playthrough I'm playing a 17 year old street kid male V in the beginning of act 2, meeting all the fixers before him going to Atlanta after some gig exposes him too much to the wrong people (I still don't know what that will be). Then I'll use a character creator to export that V to act 1 and do first act, then go back to first save to begin act 2 and go on with the story.

The biggest immersion mod I'd need in this game is to say "Er..No thanks!" when you get involved in the heist at the beginning. I mean seriously, I was having enough fun and making plenty of money just doing side jobs without doing so utterly stupid as to get involved with Dex.

So basically you want to be locked off from 2/3rds of the entire game? The only way to implement that in such a way that it feels natural to the game would be to create an entire alternate path for the game's story and characters which modders would not be able to do, atleast not with current modding capabilities.

dude, same. i was thinking about upgrading my pc when CP2077 came out, but back then in 2020 the gpus were absurdly overpriced and didn't feel like slamming 1000 or more € on the table just for a gpu without even considering the rest, so i opted for a ps5 a couple of years later. seeing all these cool mods that make this great game even greater is making me salty

There's a brand new submod for Dark Future called Remorse, so that your Nerve level is also affected by the act of killing people, like a normal person would be. It lets you set up your character's ethical framework and then you have to live by it. You can set the degree to which you're affected by killing members of each faction, for example, I set Maelstrom to 75% because they're barely human anyway, but Mox gets 125% because it's freaking Mox, while Valentinos get 90% because those guys may be bangers, but they're from the barrio and they show respect to Mama Welles and Santa Muerte. I've got police and MAXTAC at 20% because ACAB, but if I accidentally take out some office drone who just works for the cops, that's a full 100% like any other civilian. You can also set how guilty you feel about smoking, drinking and drugs, so no more firing wildly into a crowd, now you have to follow actual real-life gun safety rules or your character will spend all their time staring down the end of a bottle. It's amazing, and it's the perfect complement to Dark Future and Wannabe Edgerunner.

Your advice at the end about slowing down and "living" in the game is by far the most important. Cyberpunk is clearly a game made for roleplaying, just as Skyrim was. The huge, beautiful, open world city begs for you to loose yourself and impersonate your character. BTW, bonus point if you play in VR (with Luke Ross mod). Unfortunately one needs a very powerful machine to play in VR, but the experience is from another world. Anyway, this looks like a great list of mods, that I am going to download right now, about time to give another go to Cyberpunk.

I'd like responsive npcs if it didn't make npcs panic any time someone drives near them, or otherwise sneezes. Personally, I prefer EconomyPunk and Gunsensical for economy and gun overhauls. I find them a bit less arbitrary than the other options.

have you tried 'the Gangs of NightCity' mod? lets you join a gang. lets gangs run riot here or there. they can chase each other around the city. they have flashpoints you can walk into (gang on gang violence) or, V can just sit back and watch them take each other on lol.

Mods I have work great the only thing I seem to have a problem with is that when I have night city alive an a traffic mod together I get like 20-30 mins of gameplay then something happens like a gun shootout or something but at start all the shooting an traffic nothing affected but when I hit the mark an turn my camera fast around instant crash any recommended mod to help with that I run everything on ultra an get usually 100fps

I didn’t think I would like dark future as much as I do. Not much for survival mechanics usually but it’s really good in cp2077. AND Thank god you can get burritos in Vs apartment. What was once kinda silly and useless is totally super useful.

maybe my understanding about life sim is different than many people. for me I feels like none of these are essential when it comes to life sim, maybe adding more flavors but not necessarily change the landscape to the point of being "life sim". I think having various "careers" to play would drastically change it. for example, work at a food stand to earn a chump change everyday. establish a gang or enterprise. there are many things that could happen in Night City, but as I said without the alternate careers, it'd be far from being a life sim.

What you said about how you look\at the game and slowing down and seeing it as a living breathing city....what I took from that; is how I've been playing since the game launched and I've not experienced anything but fun with the game.I still haven't completed it and am taking my time. Why rush? That's when most people are disappointed about any game. They put their own perspective on what a game should be...not what it realy is. It starts with the individual, to not put things into their own box of perception. Thanks for the great video!

I’m using a bunch of HUD mods. For the transparent background it’s a mod called ‘No More Menu Backgrounds’, the minimap is ‘Big Compass Around Circle Minimap’, and the quest tracker is ‘Streamlined Quest Widget’.

All LUT Mods are standalone, no requirements. I recommend using Lut Switcher Mod, which allows you to switch luts while the game is running to help you better pick and choose what you like.

I just got Cyberpunk recently and I'm quite disappointed with the non-story NPCs. They're so lifeless and fake compared to NPCs in GTA for example.

I didn’t plan on making a collection (since it was just for my personal use), and only made it so the people who watched this video can scroll through the mods I had downloaded. I recently unlisted the collection and am trying to find some solution, but I’m inexperienced so I’m not sure. 😭 In the meantime, I don’t recommend downloading the whole thing. Let me know if you find anything, I honestly might just take it down.
