Today's video we will be turning left at a T junction. Turning left at a T junction tends to be more difficult than turning left into a side road. There is a lot more things you need to pay attention to when turning left at a T junction.
In your driving test in Ireland, you can pick up marks for turning left for position, observation, mirrors, signals, progress, speed and right of way.
For position turning left at a T junction, we want to be as feasibly close to the left when it is safe to do so. If there is hazards on the left that is not possible, but generally as feasibly close the the left.
For observation turning left there is a number of reasons why you could get marked in your driving test. One would be mot looking right and left enough before continuing on and secondly, when visibility is poor not taking proper precautions before moving on.
