I would consider putting some vertical strips of wood on the outside when the siding connects. I could light coming through those areas, which in my mind would allow rain or snow to get in. Causing the isolation and wood to get wet. Plus, filling those areas where the sheet metal meets the top of the for rain, snow, and wind to come in and noise to go out. Otherwise, that is a sick deer blind.

I would really consider patching all the holes between the roof panel and the 2x4s with that great stuff you bought. Insulation will be nice, but once that cold winter wind starts ripping through those holes, you’ll be chilly. Besides wind noise sucks when you’re hunting in a nice blind like that. Just my thought🤙🏼

Got an awesome idea for an early Christmas or Christmas Day special. Flair and the crew buy one Santa suit and the rest are elf suits, they have a shotgun shooting challenge with clays, winner gets the Santa suit. After that go for a hunt fully suited and kitted out. Hunt trapping whichever is in season in Nebraska. Then end it all off with a cook off, flair vs whoever is man enough to step up against the beefcake God himself. While still wearing the suits after all. Anything they catch or harvest from hunting or trapping. Whoever makes the best meal is the winner of the Christmas competition. What do you guys think???

Make a camp sink with a hanging Culligan 2ga bottle, and a big oil catch funnel for your sink. 5/8" flex hose for your drain line coming off the funnel and run outside. It works very well, just gravity fed.

Well, as per your request at the end of the video; Missed items: 1st, putting a rubberized coating (flex-seal?) on the tin roof, inside and out, to help deaden the sound of rain and hail, as well as noise from inside. 2nd, insulation for the ceiling. Also for noise reduction as well as warmth. 3rd, you should have a range hood/ exhaust fan for the smoke and fumes/carbon monoxide from your propane grill/ griddle.

Hey I hope you see this but I work in insulation. What I would recommend is putting your insulation up and then wrapping some house wrap or some type of plastic it’ll keep the inside still warm but the acoustics won’t change either and you won’t have to look at the insulation! Love all your content man, keep it up!!!

Really appreciate your videos. Insulate the ceiling, warm air rises I'm sure you know. Buy some 4x8 sheets of rigid board insulation for the ceiling. Put blocking in the ceiling edge gaps. Rip some 1 1/2 inch strips to cover the gaps in the siding or first time it rains the insulation will be soaked and then begins the mold, have fun and keep making great content.

Idk if anyone already said it but put window tint on your windows and it helps a ton. You can move around and do whatever you want and they’ll never see you. Also helps keep in dark inside the box so you don’t stand out inside

Tint or camouflage the windows maybe. Also I would recommend taking the Xbox to the main house and downloading all the games on WiFi or LAN first instead of downloading off of a hot spot. Also you can seal off inside roof with plywood and hang pots, cups and a net for fruit/bread. One more thing you might like to think about is a bathroom lol. Even if it is just a bucket to shit in. I know im a wee bit late to this buuut, i know it sounds a little weird but after you insulate the walls hang up some fluffy carpet like shag or something. My uncle did that in his old blind he built way back when, he said the carpet works good for sound. Hope it helps and keep doing what your doing Flair
