Yay! So glad you’re back! I really don’t know anything about running a small business, but have you looked into Artisan’s Nest in Sydney? I think they have a store in Newtown and Bondi. They might be able to help you sell your pieces like a market without having to be there in person…. Just an idea!

Hey :) I thought I should leave you a comment and tell you that I am also very glad you posted a new video! Growing social media might not be easy sometimes - especially in a phase where there seems only slow progress but it will be worth it at the end 💗 and being a pottery girl too I can understand how it feels loosing drive although doing something you actually love. Making ceramics is a LOT of work! What helped me is finding ways to be more efficient. I switched to only using pouring glazes for example. They are cheaper plus it saves A LOT of time. Maybe this helps a little. Xoxo from Germany 🙂

hey lovely! wow thank you so much for this comment!! it really means a lot to me that you took the time to say this! 🥰 it’s is super hard to stay motivated and positive during those down times but i’m trying to push through! thank you so much for your advice! changing to dip glazes is actually something i’ve wanted to do for a while now so i might need to look into how to make that work! thank you so much again! 🥰

I think a lot of people don't realize how difficult it is to succeed in a pottery business. It's often a ton of work to even break even considering the materials, market fees, firings, etc. That's not even counting the time spent actually making the pottery, promoting yourself, etc. It looks romantic watching creators on KZbin but they often are not showing the struggles. A lot of pottery KZbinrs I follow, simply had to quit doing pottery full time and work side jobs because the financials just don't work out.

I love your videos and really appreciate how transparent you are. Do you mind sharing why you don't want to start an Etsy shop?

hey!! thanks!! ♥️ ummm im not sure honestly! I’ve created an etsy store for other things before and i felt like i wasn’t getting a lot of people seeing my stuff plus they took a cut of every order but it may be something that i need to consider!! 🥰
