Dear friends, please seek the medical care you need. God has gifted people in medicine so he can use them to heal people. We can and should pray for healing, but God's sovereign will alone determines the outcome. It is very normal to pray for healing and not receive it. Paul the apostle was sick, but God chose not heal him (Galatians 4:13). Did Paul have a weak faith? Of course not! God does not promise Christian's perfect health in this life, but we can look forward to no more suffering in heaven. Andrew teaches people to command God's healing over their bodies, but that is not a biblical teaching. If it were, Paul would have simply commanded his body to be healed. When Jesus was on his way to the cross, He prayed and asked the Father to take the "cup" from him because He knew he would suffer greatly at the cross, but Jesus said "not my will, but yours." Let's pray like Jesus did.

Does God heal people? Yes! But no where in scripture does anyone 'speak' to their own body for healing. If you've prayed for healing, but haven't received it, please seek the medical care you need! Andrew's teaching sounds wonderful, but not all of it is Biblical. He teaches that sometimes healing 'takes time', but this is not a Biblical teaching. When Jesus healed, it was always immediate. Here are some examples: Peter’s mother-in-law (Mark 1:31), the centurion’s servant (Matthew 8:13), Jairus’ daughter (Mark 5:41-42), and the paralytic (Luke 5:24-25) were all healed immediately.

Amen I was healed of all my illnesses and never gotten sick again in the last 3 years at all. I was rarely sick before other than when I was holding a resentment and I almost died form it. He is the God that heals! I had a rotten tooth and went to the dentist last year. The dentist took and xray and said it has to come out. I did not want to pay the 500 bucks so I went home and started to pray over it. I was in so much pain. God told me to go get hands laid and faith healing. I did and it worked! Completely healed and it uplifted that church! Now I am a healer and a soul winner who can not help but testify and tell others about Jesus! The end time revival is happening now. Many are being woken up!

Lots of 'likes' on a comment from a person whose videos say you can just think happy thoughts and it will manifest good things in your life. She says "I manifested the weather; yes I created this." She says you can get on her 5 week program to get your 'ideal body size'. She gambles and thinks she's going to win the lottery. Dear friends: read the Bible yourself, study the surrounding context, and exercise discernment. Andrew takes several Bible versus out of context in this video. For example, at first glance, the Kings James Version of Isaiah 45 *seems* to indicate that you can "command" God to do his good works, but that does not fit the meaning of the passage or the rest of scripture. Prior to verse 11, God asks several rhetorical questions; and the answer to all of them is NO. In verse 11, God then asks another question: "Will you command me concerning my children and the work of my hands?" (ESV). The answer is NO. We can not command God to do things. God speaks in a similar way in Job 38-42. He asks Job rhetorical questions to point out that it's laughable to think we can demand something from Him. What is Job's response? He puts his hand on his mouth (Job 40:5) and repents in dust and ashes (Job 42:6). Isaiah 45 actually teaches the *opposite* of what Andrew says it does. Don't get me wrong; there are plenty of versus that seem to indicate we can still exercise spiritual gifts today, but Andrew often quotes scripture out of context. I don't doubt his genuine sincerity, but I encourage you use caution when listening to him, or even better, to avoid his teaching entirely.

I was working in an office, and in the reception area, a very large spider had dropped down from the ceiling area and hung right in front of the reception desk. It was so large that the customers were scared and it caused a ruckus. My supervisor told me to remove the spider. I walked over with a paper towel and was going to grab and release it outside. It bit me through the paper towel and a dark red line formed from the bite going up my entire arm. I was shocked. Everyone in the room was shocked. I started to sweat and feel nauseated. The office manager called 911. This girl came out of nowhere and walked up to me, grabbed my arm, and spoke to my arm. She commanded poison to leave my body and told my body that Jesus had already healed my body when he rose from the dead. Within a couple of minutes, the red line began to recede. By the time the ambulance got to me, I felt fine, and the line was gone. The fireman picked up the spider in the paper towel and said it was a brown recluse. I did not grow up in a religious home. I am not a religious person, but when that girl prayed for me, my whole body felt electrified and loved at the same time. I wish I understood all that happened, but the same feeling is happening in my body as I listen to this person speaking in this video.

I literally smashed a cart into my ankle while watching this. The pain was incredible, however, instead of giving into that pain, I claimed my healing. Andrew Wommack, please explain what Paul said to Timothy in 1 Timothy 5:23: :Don’t drink only water. You ought to drink a little wine for the sake of your stomach because you are sick so often." And also in 1 Timothy 4:20 where Paul wrote: "Erastus stayed at Corinth, and I left Trophimus sick at Miletus." With all the miracles going on at that time, which God used to confirm the Gospel message of Grace that the apostles were teaching, which contradicted the Jewish belief system, it's difficult to believe that one of the faithful workers in Paul's ministry (Trophimus) would not have had enough FAITH to receive healing, and/or that a lack of Faith was the reason Paul left Trophimus sick at Meletus. Who was Trophimus? He was one of eight friends (Acts 20:4), who accompanied Paul at the close of his third missionary journey and traveled with him from Greece, through Macedonia, into Asia, and onward by sea until Jerusalem was reached. The Apostle Paul said that Trophimus was honored by all the churches and that he was chosen by the churches to travel with Paul. I'm open to learning new things, as long as they sync with the clear teaching of scripture. Please explain your comments, from 9:30 and running for about 3 minutes on the time marker regarding this, namely, that the main reason Christians are sick is because of acceptance of it; because of their lack of Faith in the teaching that Christ has already paid for our healing through Christ's death on the cross. I'm sure the apostle Paul, who received many revelations from God, so many in fact, that he writes: "And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure." 2 Cor 12:7-9. An apostle with that many revelations would surely know and have passed on the correct teaching and belief about sickness in the life of a Christian. Please reply to this question. @beebleish I believe that your questions are real, not merely trying to trip anyone up. Of course there are answers in the books that have been written, but most times those books don't get read by the people who need to hear it. As such, I want to try and lift your eyes to the truth of the very Word that you quote. Bless you. There are three examples mentioned every time that healing is questioned. No one knows about Paul's friend, except that he was left behind, sick. I always wonder how the man died, it is not written. The man didn't remain sick, despite the fact that Paul left on a journey. I agree with you about Paul's revelations, but if Paul knew that his friend would be healed, he didn't have to stay there until the man was healed. Regarding Paul's thorn in the flesh... There is a thing called the law of first mention. Read in the Bible where the concept of thorn in the flesh is first mentioned. You will see that it is about people, not about sickness. As such, I confidently state that it was not sickness that Paul battled with. There is another one that people quote, He could do no mighty miracle in His own home town. Andrew included this in his preach, no need to repeat what he already did. Mark 16:14-20 is the second mention of the Great Commission. Jesus is clear on this - Those who believe will lay hands on the sick... I encourage you to look for the examples where we get to walk in the atonement of Christ, rather than hoping that He comes back to finish the job, again. It is finished, let's start believing that. I hope that I have not annoyed you with my response. It is my intention to get people to see this subject the way I have learnt to see it. I got saved in 1981, but it has only been in the last 10 years, or do, that I have started pursuing these truths. It is not that your examples are not true, it is just that we need to understand the actual truths that Andrew is speaking about. I am sorry about the podcast for an answer. God bless you.
