Along the same logic I just add few mm of Coffee grounds AND a few cm of lawnclippings on top of my worm bins (in bathtubs) tennwet paper cardboard keeps the tubs at a happy 24 C and wormscan regulate their travels to stay warm or cool keeps the breddingcycle high

Nice stuff Phil, the coffee grounds are high in nitrogen so it feeds the system

Great video. Do you ever have a problem with snakes getting into the compost because of the warmth? As we get brown snakes i get so nervous taking coverings off my compost and turning it. So far ive not found a snake, so wondering if its a legitimate concern.

Old aging woody material with a high fibrous structure is their preferred place. So basically wood piles they prefer
@cherylhowker17923 ай бұрын
Interesting…. My piles atm are fairly fresh… but they definitely more cold then hot composting.
