Bengaluru, known as the Silicon Valley of India, is a fertile ground for startups. Pawan Gupta, the co-founder and CEO of a matrimonial website, shared that his landlord purportedly invested in his startup after a brief chat on an instant messaging app.
While tweeting about the entrepreneurial spirit of Bengaluru, Gupta shared a screenshot of a chat between him and his landlord in which the landlord assures Gupta that he is investing in his company. The landlord soon confirms that he has “dropped the investment” of $10k.
(approximately Rs 8,20,000).
