Well, the thing about being a designer is that we tend to have our fortes. I’m an architect and my designs are usually vernacular meets tropical meets industrial. On the other hand, some designers are much more flexible and can cater to a wider audience. With that said, clients will look for designers who align with their own preferences. Some people might really like boho chic so they’ll reach out to someone who’s really good at boho chic. So on and so forth. Design is not a one size fits all type of thing so to compare TSG with other KZbinrs might be a little too much. Let’s just appreciate that designers here on YT are sharing with us their projects.

I always feel like there is some tension between them. I may be imagining it, but they seem to be annoyed with each other when working together. Maybe this is way more of a production and they are doing "scenes" with at least 4 people staring at them. Maybe they are just feeling awkward and they aren't the best actors. Great job ladies! You got it right. The one observation I have is that there always seems to be one thing that gets lost in the rush of final touches...dusting. The milk carts could have been utilized a bit better ( as drink holders and such) if they had been hung with the opening outwards so the top surface is usable space. Loved it!

I loved this. the concept of the video, what they did, how they did it, how it turned out. This was awesome. I don’t think she wanted it painted. She was just amazed at how bright it looked without paint. And she loved the final decor and just said “I thought you were just going to paint it white .And she was thrilled that they did so much more!

I am a die-hard Sorry Girls fan and all I want is for them to go to friend/couples therapy so the dynamic is more harmonious and less awkward...I understand that working closely together with a close friend is not easy and people change a lot over time...I just cringe when I see them so uncomfortable together when they have to film in the same video 😢 I feel Becky is always biting her tongue and Kelsey is just pushing forward unaware. I hope I’m not the only one thinking that it feels so uncomfortable to watch two people film together that obviously have so much friction behind the scenes. That’s natural when you get into business with a friend or family member; I genuinely feel that a counselor could help! Love you guys and thank you for the constant inspiration 💕

On its own, I loved the quirky, vintage, dive-y feel of the garage bar/game room. But I sensed the owners weren't that thrilled with it. I think considering the look and vibe of their rental and the fact that it's a vineyard setting, they were probably wanting/expecting something more like elegant farmhouse vibes and something a bit more mature. That said, they really can't blame the girls, esp. if they know anything about their style and also giving them free reign to do what they wanted. I thought it was cute and fun.

Girls! Of all the Upgrade My Stay makeovers you have done, this is by far the best. The knick knacks and art work were on point. Really well done. The bar really did look like it had evolved over several years - and isn't easy to pull off!
