I'm judging him anyway because some of this is common sense like come on, do you put broken (at least I'm assuming it's broken because why are you throwing it away if it isn't?) suitcases in your trashcan? Or recliner chairs? No, you take those to the dumpster or leave them outside with a "Free" sign.

I like that this is a very german game (License plates, Büro, the yellow bags) about one of the most german things - being pedantic about trash separation XD We also can load off bulk trash for free two times/year with a 3m³ volume limitation here. 9:52 - That's a Volkswagen T3 "Pritsche" (Flatbed), the work horse back in the 80's and 90's here in Germany

I used to work in a recycle depot majority of the money comes from yard waste, garbage, e-waste, and scrap metal because majority of the public has those items. E-waste is one of the biggest money gainer because if the depot doesn't have a way to extract the minerals on the site what a lot of depots do is they ship them to another facility that extract the raw minerals like gold and copper from electronics and then they sell that. Recyclable materials get shipped to another site where is sword from plastic the glass and other recyclable materials and shredded it or breaking down so that they can be reused. Depots don't really get a profit from that. Hazardous materials get placed inside of a container or drums where they'll be shipped to another facility so that they can be properly removed. So to summarize basically your local recycle site is just a warehouse that stores all the material you donate and that gets shipped to somewhere else that actually get rid of them. Another unique thing certain recycling depots have is item exchange where the depot allows the public to bring in items that they do not want to throw away and just want to exchange with another item from another person in the public. My depot stopped doing that cuz of Covid-19 but I think that was an interesting thing. In an actual depot you are not the only one that is working they're several other workers. Also it is not the workers who get the profit from what the depot makes it is the overall company like GFL Environment. The workers at the recycling plant are just employees and they don't see the profit sometimes they are working for less than what they should get.

In the UK, the majority of recycling is paid for by the local authority. The only thing members of public pay recycling centers for disposing of is building waste - such as rubble, tiles etc.

Bulk trash is the bigger items like chairs and large bags, stuff that you don't normally put in your garbage can. Residential is the normal, everyday trash, as well as some smaller items you'd normally just stuff in the trashbags along with everything else in it.

In Denmark we get bulk trash picked up by the door 4 times a year. And we have 8 types of rubbish to sort for every household. That, for me amounts to 4 bins in the driveway plus 1 smaller one that can be picked up 4 times (I think) a year if needed.

Drae.. I don't know how they do it in Canadia but plastic is always recycable. Hell, today was platic/glass and cardboard day for me here and thankfully they just pick it up at the house. They really do make a sim for everything today. Edit: And then the game takes it under bulk trash and resident waste. Okay then. Nevermind me I guess.
