The sad thing is, it's usually the people who do receive free government money, or still live with their parents who have these beliefs. Yes, I know some woke people who work for a living, but they tend to be the ones who don't have to work very hard for a living, such as teachers, preachers, and other jobs that don't require a lot of physical/manual labor. I think that has something to do with it. People who can afford to give others' money away, and people who have lived good lives without any adversity or hardship don't understand the downside of some of the policies they back. They create first world problems, and have the time to pontificate on multiple genders, because they don't have to work very hard for a living, and if they do (I am an RN, and I have worked with some woke nurses and CNAs), they still remain in a bubble, because they have their families and/or spouse to help them get through life. They never had to get out in the real world and engage with opposing viewpoints or people who harmed them and didn't give a rat's behind if they did. Now, they are shocked when someone tells them no, or doesn't nod their head in agreement or awe at their every word. We need to bring back the good, old fashioned debates to high schools and colleges. Remember those? Where people would have to convince the class of opposing viewpoints, and they would be graded on how persuasive the argument was. It didn't matter if you agreed with the argument or not - you were either on the for or against side, and if you wanted a good grade, you did a good job. Bring back critical thinking again. It's not a teacher's job to FORM minds, it's a teacher's job to INFORM minds. Children are smart enough to draw their own conclusions, based on data around them. This indoctrination of children, beginning in elementary school has to stop. By the time they are in college, they are just parroting talking points, and they can't even form a coherent and cohesive argument. They don't know the topic they are arguing for well enough, and it shows. They might as well just say it's because that's what they were told. It's blatantly obvious. If someone truly believes something, and knows about it, they can explain it in a way that anyone can understand. It's why Charlie Kirk wins his debates. He comes armed with knowledge and facts about a multitude of topics he believes in. All they have is the memory of a couple of notes they took from a lecture they thought were "gotcha quotes" from their professors. They think because we are logic based, that we will balk at the mere mention of science. They forget that we expect data to back up the claims. We now live in a world where we have young adults with the maturity levels of a teenager, and the leftist elders have reverted back to that maturity level, too. Unfortunately, these teens in adult bodies are now trying to run the world. They need to be grounded until they learn the lesson that children should be seen and not heard.

Like, did they live another life before, that they consider easy, or have a job that seemed easy, to which they're comparing their current situation? I used to drive 50 miles 1 way to get raw milk, and kept thinking that selling milk has got to be an easy job, especially since they don't have to pasturize it. One day I decided to stick around and help out in their back room [I won't bore you with the jobs and details], and after several hours I had to ask how they managed to keep this business going - how they managed their family and this milk business too. The lady there said they were ready to give up already, and probably would soon, because it was just too much work [which by then I could plainly see - and all I did was wash bottles] and they didn't make enough to be worth it. Since then I realize that there is so much more to some jobs than anyone can imagine, especially self employed type business, where you not only produce the product, but collect your own paycheck from individual customers. I also had a newspaper route in my teens, and gave up after a year, because some people just refused to pay their bill, or constantly dodged me, or claimed they had no money today, and come back another time, and I could only ever collect enough to pay for the newspapers. This was way back when the newspaper companies did not help the carriers in any way with these problems. The easiest jobs I ever did were ones where you get a regular paycheck from your employer, for showing up and doing whatever, and leaving when your time is up, even when it was gruntwork or washing dishes, standing on my feet all day. I hated those jobs more, but they were over-all easier, less challenging, except for sore feet or whatever.
