This is Part three of the turntable, Engine Sheds and yard build. Concentrating on ballasting building the grass banking. Mix of ballast with grey and black. Lighting turned down to 9v with yellow acrylic paint on the leds.

Sensational stuff Pete - the whole area looks excellent, particularly with the lighting in "night mode". Plus - what a great tip on those acrylic weathering pens. Many thanks as always, and all the best.

@@PringletonModelRailway Hi Darryl. Thank you for your nice comment buddy. Still not finished will be doing an update. Those pens nice and easy to work with and you don't get paint everywhere. Small areas only though. Thanks again Darryl, always great to hear from you. .... Pete and Su....

Yet another great video Pete 😊 I'm really enjoying watching your latest developments. The turntable looks a lot better sat in the black ballast. It camouflages the edges very nicely. Thank you for sharing 👍

Hi Mav buddy. Thank you for your lovely comment. Thanks for saying you like the black ballast, I wasn't sure about it. Still more to do, going to make it look neater, maybe add a few weeds and rusty rails. 🤔 Hope you're getting better Mav, missed Brian's live but did see some of the video. Heard your name so new you were participating. 🌝 Would have liked the Peco turntable but didn't want to make the bloody Great hole in the baseboards. Thanks for watching Mav...Get well soon buddy. Su sends her love.😘 ....Pete and Su....

Great progress Pete. If you feel that the black is a bit much, can you try springkling some grey ballast over it to pepper it with patches of lighter ballast. If you don't like it, vaccuum it up. If you like it, glue it down. Your layout Pete. Your call 👍 Maybe the odd weed? Embankment looks good. Happy Modellung. Hi to Su 👋

very nice, it's not about what we like, but what you like. I would be tempted to put a mid grey wash over the ballast on the entrances to the sheds. This will focus your eye to the sheds rather than the ballast. I have a similar issue with parts of my shed area
