Too difficult. The time and resources it would take would put the devs back several years. First they need to remove planes (8 months). Then they decide what to do with AA (14 months). Then they say that it can't be balanced (1 minute). Then blame the comunity for not understanding that CAS isn't OP (0 seconds).

I have been using the 2PL and 2A4M for a couple weeks now and I can tell you they are very similar but one point of difference is that the 2A4M while sharing the regular 2A4 chassis does have a composite screen on the UFP. 40mm I believe. It has made a difference for me versus the regular 2A4 and 2PL. In fact I would take the 2A4M over the 2A5 or 2A6 given this composite screen but also the Gen 3 thermals make a massive difference for me. I am running 2PL, 2A4M and 2A7V at top tier and doing just fine! Need me some good thermals.

My problem with these top tier premiums isn’t that the players are bad, it’s that they can’t even respawn more than once. They are only given 20 backups which allow them to spawn twice every match until they run out. New players don’t have a massive reserve of backups like veterans do, and the rate at which you use them is faster than the rate at which you gain backups. With how expensive these premiums are, they should allow them to be spawned 2 maybe even 3 times per match without requiring backups.

Well the feedback I gave Gaijin was that they should be permanent "2 spawns" Like reserve tanks that get 3, but they went in favour of backups instead, which at the time I thought was at least better than nothing

The way Gaijin blatantly ignores the player’s opinion is infuriating. We've been saying for years now that we don’t want CAS in Ground, considering it’s called “Ground” and not “Ground & Air”, and as always the snail cares not since the planes will become less of a cash grab opportunity since they are only gonna be restricted to air battles. The fact that they told that this thing will have composite armour package which will provide similar protection to ones found on 2a7 series tanks which made a lot of ppl preorder it and then removing the line stating about the armour from the devblog and not giving it the armour as it was advertised it would have is a big scam…honestly its just a leo2a4 a 10.3 tank at 11.3 fighting 11.7 just cuz u have better thermals and a good round thats it

To be fair it does have a much better turret too, it really is the PL but cooler & with premium benefits. It is also cool for newer players who are grinding the PL amd now can have a lineup at 11.3 wich still has a lot of downtiers contrary to 11.7. Gaijin also said they will never sell top tier 11.7 so this thing COULD NOT be as good as an A6 or A7 at 11.7 or you would absolutely stomp everything in a downtier.

It has a comparable turret, with the same (assuming that this thing isn't constantly at 12.3 constantly getting its ass ate) turret weakspots as the normal 2A4. The 2A4M is (allegedly) missing a spall liner in the turret, and the arrowhead/pike-nose arrays on the frontal turret are missing some considerable armor thickness. The turret protection should be on-par with the 2A5, but it is currently on-par with the 2A4 - but with 10mm of extra shit strapped to the front. The hull armor is meaningless, but the MEXAS array is not a particularly impressive bolt-on armor set in real life. The side blocks of MEXAS sometimes eat AFV/Light Tank shells, but only if they're very poorly aimed, as they only cover the upper side-hull sponson which to be frank, most people won't be shooting at. Honestly, if they just improved the turret armor, the 2A4M would be a REAL solid recommendation; but as it stands currently, it's just a slower - more overworked 2A4/2A4 123.

1:10 Theres nothing wrong with top tier premiums as long as they arent broken overpowered bullshit like the Russian ones. However the problem at top tier (any tiers really) is the lack of incentive or reward to continue playing in a match where you are in an unfair losing fight. Small lineups (1-3 TANKS, not including aircraft) should have the same system the Israeli M-50s have where you get 3 free "backups" for any tank. If they had to, they could make it so premium vehicles get 3+1 and tech tree vehicles get 2+1 (+1 from actual backups); on top of that, in those situations they could either make you only pay repairs for one of the same vehicle even if you use it 4 times, or just make it so repair costs get lower the more you spawn. People who purchase a top tier premium should also get access to a stock SPAA equipped with radar that gets unlocked in the tech tree, or a "loaner" SPAA with radar that gets put into the lineup the same way the nuke and drones are, with a partially unlocked modification set (so its not stock but also not spaded, but its unlocked enough to be capable.) and a lvl 65 crew; as long as their lineup is small and they dont already own the designated loaner SPAA. There is a lack of incentive to continue spawning for both premium players AND normal players. Spading tanks is hell at top tier which is why even TT players 1-death leave. Its more effective to die once in the vehicle you are trying to spade and move to the next match, than it is to continue fighting a match. Plus top tier is by far one of the worst balanced BR ranges in the game. Whether or not you win or lose depends nearly entirely on what nations are on your side or the other. Basically if you dont have atleast 2 between Russia, Germany, or Sweden on your side with their handheld overpowered vehicles, you lose; and on top of that if you have USA on your side, you may as well just J out and return to hangar because that entire nation is dead weight. Gaijin has a competently made system to solve the issue, they just choose not to use it. They also are completely incapable of proper game balance and the community actively begs for even worse balance asking for "decompression" in the form they do.

Top tier premiums ARE a problem if these can be aquired by anybody without taking their skill/experince into account. Sure, for long term players these vehicles are a blessing if you want to grind a new nation quickly, however new and bad players are just not able to compete in top tier matches. Therefore these players need to be considered as extra targets for the enemy instead of usefull mates. You could fix that by making these premiums unbuyable until you eg unlock your first rank 5/6 vehicle, yet that will never happen because noobs with mums credit card are just too much income for gaijin. IMO it doesnt matter if that tanks broken or not, the sole ablitity to skip all ranges of the game where you learn how to not suck is the bigger problem. Look at wot/wotb too: Theyve got also WAY too many top tier premiums which can be bought by everyone with a big enough wallet, yet this doesnt teach them how to play. This is most apparent in wotb, having two of such noob top tier premium players at T10 in the small 7v7 battles is in 85% of cases just a straight defeat.

something i think that would help with high tier match's is if they made people stay longer like you have to bring as many tanks as the default crew slots and if you leave early or j out with no severe damage u should have double the time penalty and after repeat offenses make those people only play together sort of how rockstar does with players reported multiple times they only get matched with other people that have also been violators of the rules anyone else think this would help or just me?

I would do a similar thing but remove the limit of spawn time of common tanks and just keep increasing the spawn point cost so that the one death leavers cannot leave if they bring only 1 tank, and if they leave before exausting their spawn points then they should take a more severe penalty

The Stuart VI prem is an American built, Canadian operated vehicle in the American tech tree. The Ram II is a Canadian built, Canadian operated vehicle in the American tree.
