Turok 2 Seeds of Evil is a fantastic game, and even better remastered! Everything looks great and runs at 60fps fairly smoothly. It will be ~10 hours of gameplay for an experienced player, and more if this is your first time playing. To me, it was worth every bit of money I spent on it, but if you're wondering if it's worth it, feel free to watch the videos and see some gameplay! It's one of those classic games that plays sort of like Doom. The story is minimal but it's definitely interesting that a "dinosaur hunter" Is saving the universe from a nearly all powerful being known as the Primagen.

Nah, you can get it simply with the whispers Talisman. The path first leads to an Ultra Health then to the primagen key. No Eye of Truth needed. I think you meant level 5 Talisman which is fine, everyone makes mistakes XD otherwise great timestamps buddy. It helps a lot

THANK YOU. I played this level for, no joke, 2 hours. I got one vent closed. Wandered, wandered, backtracked, and backtracked even more desperately searching for that one area I had not found to progress....and nothing. I literally loaded my first save at the entrance of the level and now I'm just following your footsteps via the video while my game runs.

The charge dart rifle is honestly one of the best weapons in the game...if you play on higher difficulties. Seriously, just shock every enemy then run up to them and war blade them. Saves you so much ammo and health. Also I was hoping that as soon as you got the sunfire pods you would showcase them on one of the Blind Ones, since they are absolutely satisfying to one hit kill them with...but I guess you didn't even know, sunfire pods are lethal to Blind Ones. They kill them instantly and apparently set their bodies ablaze too. Quite honestly one of the most fun things to do. Such a shame you get them so late in this level though.

There is a theory that the glitch key is just people using the keys in a different order. It turned out to be the case for me. The "Cave Keys" are consumable items. Walkthroughs keep referring to specific keys to specific doors. If you have a key missing, and a walkthrough points to one you already picked up, go check other keys. I had the "vent 1 door" key missing as everyone, so I just skipped to the vent 2, and in that vent 2 area there was a key lying around. I missed the first two vents on my first playthrough of the level (the first two vent rooms are way easier to miss that the keys imo) so backtracking to vent 1 first instead of vent 2, triggered the whole "omg there is a key missing, and I just picked all, there must be a glitch" thing, when I should have just gone to the vent 2 first to get the actual missing key.

This is correct first key I found was on the third vent not realizing there’s two more had to go back to vent 2 then 1 in order for them to appear. I freaked out thinking I had to restart the game luckily I came and saw this comment. Thanks 🙏

17:07. OMG. I am here exactly because of that glitch. I was wondering, why I didn't have the cave key and cannot find it. Is there any console command to help me? And why is this glitch still not fixed, I bought the game 3 weeks ago. Update: I loaded an earlier save from shortly before the end of the level. I went all the way back to the place where the key should be (17:17). It wasn't there. The lock still says that it required a cave key. Are the keys not specific to the locks? Maybe I used that key on a later lock and could now find an even later key and return to the lock at 19:01. Update 2: I collected the cave door key from the second vent at 23:36. Let's see, if I can open the lock to the previous vent with it. Update 3: It worked. And this was the last vent, I finally did it. After 13 hours of playing the game I finished this level. x(

17:33 That was actually not a softlock, you missed the second key (in the under water section) What happened? What the gamers intended: -find the first key which is hard to miss -take the key to the first air vent, open the section with the vent and destroy it. -advance further through the level. In case you miss the (well hidden) second key and hidden second air vent, you can not progress much further because there is a loked door where you need to use the key that you only get after destroying the second air vent. (That's the reason it's right next to the spot where you have to place the sachel charge) -Now you can progress further in the level. What did you (and me) do instead? -Take the first key, but don't use it for the first air vent -miss the first and second air vents -use the key instead at the door that is intended to prevent you from progressing in the level -wonder why you found the level extrance portal but not the mission objectives. It's actually a desing error from the designers. Well, shit happens.

Actually using sniper mode Kills blind ones with a single head shot. And I didn’t realize what the charge dart rifle is actually super helpful. It stands and enemy for like what feels like forever, so for the big spiders or when you go in the work portal it’s a trap it’s perfect on single enemies you incapacitate him and then have 15-20to just kill them however you want, Especially helpful if your low health and or ammo. Also I found this level is actually pretty straightforward. Other levels will have three or four different pads you can take and you don’t want to take the wrong one and go to far and forget shit. This one will have at most two paths, It’s pretty obvious when you’re taking the main path and potentially missing something from the other path that eventually dead ends, you know If you accidentally got on the main path because it just keeps going.

Somehow when I beat this level I didn't end up getting key 3, and later on couldn't figure it out. Thanks for showing me the way. I think that I was so low on health and ammo that I jumped off the rotating platforms in order to get left over items below. Then of course there is no quick way back up.

My strategy for the large spiders is to either use Explosive Shotgun Shells or the Grenage Launcher. Two shots of either weapon and they're dead.

If you played through Hive of the Mantids first, then you should already have the Charge Dart Rifle, Firestorm Cannon, Cerebral Bore and Scorpion Launcher. Makes the Blind Ones much easier to deal with, though it means dealing with the obnoxious ass Mantids.

The save station at the beginning of the level was added because they now function as teleporters, so instead of going to the space station and walking through the level teleporter, you can just jump into a save station and teleport right to it.

Underrated game IMO, even more so the remake. 60 FPS is a completely different experience vs the one and a half frames per second you get on the N64 version, strafing is actually possible now.

Okay guys, so I don't think the game breaks with this glitch. I was initially torn between believing there was a glitch or that I used one of the earlier cave keys for a cave that was meant to be opened with a later key in the game. This is what happened to me, got the cave key and skipped the thermal vent that is where those two red life forces are. I used that same key for a different cave in the game. When you are returned to the beginning because of not finishing the mission and you try to enter the thermal vent in between the two red life forms you can't, and you don't have the key anymore because you used it somewhere else. This in turn gives you the illusion that the game is broken. IT IS NOT! go back towards the end of the mission and look for it everywhere, you will find the key that you need. This happened to me. I messed up because I did not have any saved files to re load again. Backtracking will be really difficult, but it beats restarting the game.

Yeah, I kept hearing from a bunch of people that you MUST restart and that it's a game breaking glitch. For me when I ran through I got the last vent first, the other ones weren't as in your face so I thought they were just secret areas, but by the time I got to the end of the level I had all the secrets unlocked in that level and only one vent. So I back tracked to the first vent, lo and behold, no cave key. I figured I was screwed because I used it for the gate right after that BUT if you go do the second vent before the first vent you get a cave key and you can use it on the first vent gate to get in. I absolutely hate this level, it's basically the mandatory water level of Turok 2. I remember stopping the campaign on this level when I played it on the N64 as a kid and I don't remember if I ever beat it or not, I think eventually I just went onto the next level since I had all the keys but I had to go back for the primagen key and dreaded it. The rest of the game is a blast, I absolutely love it but this level, man. I heard people say the one before this is the worst but it's a cake walk compared to this maze-like hell hole. Now the entire map is seared into my mind and it's not complicated at all anymore but I still don't want to do it. Even the Aztec temple in Turok 1 wasn't nearly this bad and that was basically the water level of Turok 1 for me.

You are right. This is more a wrong level design than a glith. Still sucks. The mistake here is they did dungeon levels that you can go the next goal and reach the end of the level without doing the objectives. Which doenst make any sense. Why I can go to the final of the level if I cant go to the next level? On Zelda games, for example, you have to take some keys to advance, you have to take the item of the level to take the boss key and only with all the necessary stuff you reach the boss. If I have to do the fist objective to unblock the 2 second part of the level, do the second objective do unlock the third part of the level and do third objective to unlock the path to the level 5, them, we have a new game that it still chalenge, but no so much convoluted.

Precisely at the 37 minute mark where you entered the room with the sand worm things I did not walk forward and the door closed behind me glitching me into the wall/door I did not realize this until I killed all the worms and now I’m just stuck. I actually use the tranq gun and then Warblade the Blind Ones. Actually works quite well and is one of the few times that weapon works. 2 to 3 darts are enough

If you're stuck at the first vent "key glitch" just use the ~ key, type fly, press enter and fly through the wall. Problem solved do the ~ thing again to exit fly mode

@@moscowvicent1995 i would go through the level again. Double, triple check, make damn sure you really didnt miss any of the door keys (some of them are pretty difficult to find). Check your inventory and make sure it says you got all the door keys. If its still not working, then yea restart the whole game.

Even with your walkthrough I'm missing one objective. You're playing the PC version. I have N64 and not all the areas are the same. And unlike what you said I definitely needed the lava talisman, I must've died 20 times (instantaneously). I'm stuck at the place where you have to jump on like 5 tall spinning platforms, as I jump on them I'm not allowed to move at all, all I can do is jump and like a glitch it doesn't jump right and I fall 9 out of 10 times. Very frustrating.
