The tone is completely different/off,the characters look like jungle themed hipsters lol spray their hair different colors and they would be jungle borderlands or fortnite characters,they look 'edgy' instead of serious.They need to look a liitle more native american aswell. Where are the big powerful guns?and why do the characters have abitities like morph into a reptile, use tentacles or lightning?even the arrows are tranparent blue,and the axe looks like a plastic toy from toys r us lol it is very generic and not brutal looking enough.The older turok games had a very gritty,dark and real look to them where the arrows,blades look like they are made of steel and very sharp,and the blood spurts high into the air.The older turok games were thick with atmosphere and looked too violent even for some adults.This game looks seems to play it very safe.I hope it ends up being great but the early signs are worrying.The art direction and tone of a game like this is what makes or breaks it for me,even if the gameplay turns out well.@@TheLegend-gj6bw

@ps.shots.93 Really the only thing that urks me in the trailer, is it looks like knife game play will be as bad as the 2008 version. "Cenimatic" and locked into an animation, unless they made it where you don't take damage this time, I'm not seeing hope for it. Which saddens me...

My hopes: -Single-player offline campaign -Bring back some of the more iconic classic weapons (e.g. Shredder, Cerebral Bore, a super weapon you collect pieces of throughout the game) -Unique enemies like Endtrails, Flesh Eaters, and Mantids, and not JUST dinosaurs (although I do like the dino designs shown here)

Calm down, they did the same thing with Red Faction. Even to this day, we still haven’t gotten the level of distractibility and decimation that we got from Guerrilla. You could literally level buildings to the ground with that game. Saber has become my favorite developer in recent years and I trust they’ll do an amazing job with this IP.

As someone who used to play Turok on the N64 I feel divided. I don't know how I feel about the bio suits and third person was an odd choice. I like the world and enemy design, I really like the tech bow design but the biosuits throw me off.

The best Turok was Turok Evolution. It had many mechanics, including poisoning and gore, and featured ancient and futuristic weapons. There were numerous chapters, and enemies included humans, dinosaurs, reptilians, and biological weapons. The setting was beautiful, ranging from jungles and cities to ancestral advanced civilizations and reptilian bases, as well as mountains, etc.
