Yet California makes sure that, despite being flooded w illegal immigrants, sees to it , prioritizes to 'rescue " 12 year old girls from their 'abusive" parents to provide mastectomies, against parental objection, if the school manages to convince the girls that they are "transgender:. Yep, California has their priorities straight.

@@maiajanashiasmith - bc California is not making foster care oversight a priority. They have allowed themselves to be overburdened with other priorities, and there are simply not the resources of foster families, the resources for oversight, to prioritize safety of children in foster care. Theynare taking on ever increasing burdens from there continued increased FLOOD of children and adults illegally from other coin tries w no resources or even a penny to their names, who do not know the language, have no education, in need of medical care, and omg the educational needs! ALSO, California chooses to spend the $$ that SHOULD be allocated for the protection of children, to pay for hormonal treatments and mastectomies of 12 year olds whom the school has groomed into thinking they are transgender, and doing so AGAINSTn the will of these children's parents. The young think about it, there is no wonder the needs of American children flall through the cracks. .

Our Parents have a huge impact on our lives .If they are abusive they can make your life so dark and hopeless and it you will be traumatized forever. “I want to be a motivational speaker to help others and stuff. My whole life it’s been so hard for me to understand why, why everything has happened. But if I can use what I went through to make a difference in the world, then I think that can heal me.” For someone who maybe feels she doesn’t have strong verbal skills, she just made such a profound statement. Good morning America is a joke all they want to do is push the liberal agenda and you didn't notice how when she's breaking down and showing her sorrow they edit that piece out and segue into the next topic. you need to receive discernment using the holy spirit of God. seek Jesus Christ. wisdom will save you from evil people Jesus said that and also wisdom will help you see evil people even when they're trying to come off as good people. no matter what God was always with them and God rescued these children. but the world has evil sufficient unto the day and the evil will not stop until Jesus Christ returns. sorrow will still be in everyone's life and there will still be pain and they will still be fear but when you have God in your heart which these young women do, then there is hope and the hope is from God and it will not be killed. amen

They're remarkable young ladies to be sure. Jordan is flipping adorable with how she blurts out information and I think that's why she gets a lot of the attention in the comments. I'm sure Jennifer has added emotions for being through it the longest and also being forced to partake in the abuse by locking her siblings in the cages. It's vile what these "parents" did, but to force one of their children to do it, too . . . well, I hope they get special attention in lock up. Jennifer and Jordan are extraordinary individuals and I appreciate how willing they are to share their stories. Being so free with that information is providing valuable resources to effect reform in areas like homeschooling to protect children in the present and future.

Man I have been in tears for an hour over this. I watched every video I could. When I first heard it from a Facebook post I was crying when I went over to Google and asked how is Jordan Turpin doing. That's where I'm at in the story right now seeing how good and how well everyone's doing these days. It takes a lot to move this much. If I could give each one of them a hug I sure would. I'm so sorry that happened to them. Then when I heard they got abused in foster care , I lost it again. Damn what a story. 50 years old crying like, what is wrong with me, this story touched my heart. God I pray for anyone suffering like they did. I believe that is what allowed them to survive. She said that her mother was very kind to her when she was very young but then had a nervous breakdown from the father and became mentally impaired. I hope you find inner peace with the simmering anger you clearly feel inside and if writing anonymously in a way that might imply you're some kind of alpha male with no hangups to speak of makes you feel better then so be it but it's not really living is it Adam.

Like the homeschooled girls I personally know, they are ripe for abuse. Sexual and otherwise. Actual school, private or public, teaches kids who the takers are. Isolated children don't have the ability to develop this skillset. Sometimes the little assholes are poor black boys. Other times they're wealthy white boys. They're still takers/opportunists. The Turpin girls are still children. It doesn't matter that they're almost 30 years old.

Jordan’s natural intelligence is really staggering. Freedom and the real world must have been such abstract ideas, and the pure courage to chase that without any knowledge of what she was going to encounter on the outside is just unbelievable. It’s an incredibly rare kind of person willing to face chaos head-on like that. Clearly the groundwork had been laid by the older sister, with teaching the younger siblings language etc, but without a courageous person to carry out the task it’s all null. It’s incredible how the base traits of some people can have such a bearing on so many, and it does make you wonder where Jordan would have been in another, more normal, life. Amazing people 👏🏻👏🏻

My heart hurts for them so much and I am so angry they were not helped by anyone for so long. How did this escape anyone's attention? The human innate will and love is amazing. Jordan literally overcame her years of brainwashing and abuse and risked everything to escape and get help for her siblings. Also, I think Jennifer tried her best to get help for her siblings but so much brainwashing and abuse was foisted upon her, I can only hope they receive the best therapists on earth and continue therapy as long as possible. I am so angry at the county child protective services as their fidicuary in refusing to give ANY of the kids the donated monies ($600,000) to help them. They are finally suing the county and I hope the county has to pay for punitive damages in addition to pain and suffering and the $600,000 owed plus interest. God bless them.

The System is set up and run by predators. People that want to abuse children seek out positions of power to abuse children. After this special, and now that so many people know of them, they'll be exploited by those in power. The children have been brainwashed into believing in Faith (religion), which is a facade for evil people pretending to be good. They've escaped a matrix within another matrix of lies and treachery. If these children continue to believe these lies, they'll become the abusers. The cycle of stupid evil continues.

That is so great to know but I still worry that the adults do not have parental figures to help them navigate the real world and to be loved. I heard that the younger siblings were abused by foster parents and the older ones have been homeless and assaulted. Their money has been squandered too. I still don’t feel like all of them are protected. I would love to live nearby to help look after them.

The hardest part of being psychologically abused by your parents is accepting the good, the love, and support from others. Reconciling how it's possible that others see your value, your worth, can love you, can accept you, can say you matter when those who brought you into this world thought and treated you the opposite, is almost as hurtful as the abuse itself. It is going to be a lifetime of healing.

Same here. Some of us are born to be warriors, and others are...not. I was the youngest of 6 in a viciously violent household. I was the one that took on the "protector" role, even though they were older than me. I knew I could handle it...but they obviously couldn't.
