I love your channel, because I utterly love high quality, untreated stones, and also, because you are old school. X

Being a hobby cutter I can indulge in the old school methods. When you are cutting pounds a day you need to speed things up a bit. It is fun cutting old school. Sure glad I don't have to make my living cutting.

Do you want to sell any of the turquoise that you have found?

Love cutting turquoise as well as interesting agates. I did stop using dop wax a long time ago and switched to crazy glue and a quick set spray to set it quickly. GD

Agates are much harder than turquoise. With most stones the softer the harder the cut. Most professionals do not use wax. For hobbyists it is a traditional method.

I’ll pass the extra chemical exposure.

Hey Mike, think you can do a video about Polychrome turquoise and what the different types of fade-to colors tell us about the turquoise? There are enough mines out there that can get into that kind of detail. How about one that refers to host rock and matrix? Different host rock by mine sorted out. Kingman orange web, gold web, black web. Maybe something about the mines that have quartz and which don’t. Which have pyrite and which don’t. Things like that. Just some ideas! Love the series and never want to see it end

Thanks for the suggestions. Since I am not a geologist I quickly am out of my depth on some of these topics but I can show examples. The covers of Part Three will show Royston polychrome.

@@turquoiseinamerica3164 hey sounds good! I know that you DID do the video on matrix in which we got to see the Royston Blue you have- killer stone
