Not entirely related, but check out Agula, another Mongolian-Swiss collaboration between Arga Bileg and the Heiri Kanzig Quintet. It has throat singing and yodeling, and it rules. Something that mixes European opera with throat singing would definitely be amazing too.

This has such a majestic almost heavenly sound. I love the bass reverb at 1:35-1:37. The build to that point has so much energy. Wish we has a clean version of this because it would be awesome. Maybe do a recording if able.
